बिजली गिरने से नहीं बल्कि इस वजह से गिरी थी हरकी पैड़ी की दीवार, जांच में हुआ खुलासा !

The wall of his pedi fell not from falling electricity, but from filling with water after digging for the power line underground. This was revealed in the investigation of a three-member committee formed by the District Magistrate. The committee submitted its report to the Collector.


District Collector C Ravi Shankar has confirmed this. Earlier, City Magistrate Jagdish Lal also dismissed the report of lightning falling in his report. Harki Paidi collapsed with a wall adjacent to the police checkpost at 3:30 am on Tuesday. 

   

The debris of the wall had spread to the Ganges Ghat and Brahmakund. Thankfully, there was no loss of life due to the accident at night. Officers along with the public representatives were stirred by the fall of the world famous Harki Paadi. It was publicized on Tuesday that lightning caused the wall to collapse.

The committee, in its report, attributed the fall of the wall to the filling of water after the carving for the power line. The lightning fall was not confirmed in the investigation. Now further action will be taken. - C. Ravi Shankar, District Magistrate Haridwar
